Day 3 was a very similar structure to day 2, basically I was picked up at around 10:00, recommended a trail, and then dropped off at the trail head. The trail for the day was the coastal walk, which wasn’t quite along the coast, but unlike the previous day it was more walk then hike, so not as much up/down, which I was thankful for because I was definitely feeling the effects of more then 4 hours of hard hiking the day before. This trail was also estimated to be 5-5.5 hours in length, and snaked south along the eastern coastline. The weather was AWESOME, which I’m glad I am able to say about one day of my trip, because as I’ve probably mentioned, it rains a lot here. This trail must not have been walked in at least a week because the number of spider-webs was unbelievable. I ended up carrying a stick the entire time which I was waving in front of my face like some sort of out of tune conductor, and whenever I let my guard (the waving stick) down, I was quickly reprimanded by a stick mass of spider web in the face.

Every once in a while the trail would go down into the denser forest and the scenery would go through a little change...

That's my stuff as I took my lunch break. That box of Muesli (which is my new favorite food) is my lunch (well not the whole thing).

The trail itself ended on the edge of a big path of grazing land for cows. I went from dodging spiderwebs to dodging cow pies.

And then I got to this road which ended up being a very steep 30 minute uphill trek to finish off the day, not a lot of fun after 4 hours of hiking.
The trail was very straightforward, I didn’t have to do any death defying acrobatics, didn’t slide down and mountainsides, kinda boring really. Though I did run into a pack of 3 feral pigs which kept getting scared off as I caught them unawares, unfortunately each time I was a little too slow on the camera draw. I did feel like a tough-guy though, scaring off the largest and most ferocious land animals on the island (more ferocious then the bunnies).
